Karate Uniforms

Karate uniforms are not complete without karate belts. The fact is that karate uniforms are fairly simple. The one thing that helps people distinguish one uniform from another is the color of belt that accompanies the uniform. Of course, the color of the belt depends on the skill of the person who wears the uniform.

Some karate uniforms feature a white belt with one black bar. Others feature white belts that have two black bars on them. Any belt that is mostly white signifies that the wearer of the karate uniform is a beginner and has just recently undertaken this martial art.

• After a martial artist has continued to show advancement, he can then wear a yellow belt with his karate uniforms. A yellow belt is not completely yellow, as it includes one black bar. After the accomplishments for the next belt have been achieved, people can then wear green belts with their karate uniforms.

For most people, it can take a matter of years to progress to the point when they are able to wear green belts with their karate uniforms, but there are still a few belts left to be obtained. The brown belt follows the green belts.
Then, a person is finally able to begin working on his black belt. This obviously is the kind of belt that most people want to wear along with their karate uniforms. A person who is a black belt can achieve different rankings, but there is no change to the karate uniforms as each of these rankings is obtained.

Once a person can wear a black belt with his karate uniforms, his uniform will no longer change even if he continues to progress.
